The Thirsty Crow
(प्यासा कौआ)

Once, a crow was very thirsty. एक बार, एक कौआ बहुत प्यासा था। He flew here and there in search of water but could not find it anywhere. वह पानी की तलाश में इधर-उधर उड़ता रहा लेकिन उसे कहीं नहीं मिला। At last, he saw a pot in a garden. अंत में, उसने एक बगीचे में एक घड़ा देखा। He flew to the pot and looked inside. वह घड़े के पास उड़ा और अंदर देखा। There was very little water at the bottom of the pot. घड़े के तल में बहुत कम पानी था।

The crow could not reach the water with his beak. कौआ अपनी चोंच से पानी तक नहीं पहुँच सका। He thought of a brilliant plan. उसे एक शानदार तरकीब सूझी। He picked up some stones and dropped them into the pot one by one. उसने कुछ पत्थर उठाए और एक-एक करके घड़े में डाल दिए। The water level rose up. पानी का स्तर ऊपर उठ गया। The crow drank the water and flew away happily. कौए ने पानी पिया और खुशी-खुशी उड़ गया।
