'Would' का प्रयोग

Polite Requests, Past Habits, and Wishes.

Concept: "Would" is the past form of "Will". It is commonly used to make polite requests (Would you like...?) or to talk about habits in the past.
(Would 'Will' का पास्ट है। इसका प्रयोग विनम्र निवेदन या पुरानी आदतें बताने के लिए होता है।)

1. Polite Request / Offer (विनम्र निवेदन)

Used to offer something or ask someone to do something politely.

English Sentence Hindi Meaning
Would you like some tea? क्या आप थोड़ी चाय लेंगे? (Offer)
Would you help me? क्या आप मेरी मदद करेंगे? (Request)
I would like to go. मैं जाना चाहूँगा। (Wish)

2. Past Habit (पुरानी आदत - used like "Used to")

Used to talk about things we did regularly in the past but don't do now.

English Sentence Hindi Meaning
When I was a kid, I would play cricket. जब मैं बच्चा था, मैं क्रिकेट खेला करता था
We would go to the park daily. हम रोज पार्क जाया करते थे

3. Imaginary Situations (Conditional)

Used to talk about things that are not real (Imagination).

Difference: Will vs Would

Will (Future/Direct) Would (Polite/Past/Imaginary)
I will play. (Future Plan) I would play. (Past Habit/Imaginary)
Will you come? (Direct) Would you come? (Polite)
