How we express facts, orders, and wishes.

Definition: Mood is the "Mode" or "Manner" in which a verb is used. It shows if a sentence is a Fact, a Command, or a Wish.
(मूड बताता है कि वाक्य एक सच्चाई है, आदेश है, या सिर्फ एक कल्पना है।)

1. Indicative Mood (तथ्य सूचक)

Used to state a Fact, an Opinion, or ask a Question. This is the most common mood.

Type Example Sentence Hindi Meaning
Fact The sun rises in the east. सूर्य पूर्व में उगता है।
Opinion He is a good boy. वह एक अच्छा लड़का है।
Question Are you happy? क्या तुम खुश हो?

2. Imperative Mood (आज्ञा सूचक)

Used to give a Command, make a Request, or give Advice. The subject "You" is hidden.

Type Example Sentence Hindi Meaning
Command Close the door. दरवाजा बंद करो।
Request Please help me. कृपया मेरी मदद करें।
Advice Drive carefully. ध्यान से गाड़ी चलाओ।

3. Subjunctive Mood (संभावना / कल्पना)

This is unique. It explores Hypothetical situations (Imagination), Wishes, or Demands.
