Things you can count on your fingers: "One, Two, Three..."
Count nouns change when there is more than one. Usually, we add 's'.
| Singular (One) | Plural (Many) | Hindi |
|---|---|---|
| One Book | Two Books | एक किताब / दो किताबें |
| A Dog | Three Dogs | एक कुत्ता / तीन कुत्ते |
| One City | Many Cities | एक शहर / कई शहर |
You can use "A" or "An" before a singular count noun.
Note: You cannot use A/An with plural nouns (e.g., "A dogs" is wrong).
To ask about the number of count nouns, we use "How Many".
