Auxiliary Verb: "Do" & "Does"
'Do' और 'Does' का प्रयोग

Essential for Present Tense Questions and Negatives.

Concept: In Simple Present Tense, we use "Do" or "Does" when the sentence is Negative (No) or a Question.
(Present Tense में 'नकार' या 'प्रश्न' के लिए Do/Does का प्रयोग होता है।)

1. The Golden Rule: Who uses what?

It depends on the Subject.

2. Negative Sentences (Do not / Does not)

To say "No" in the present.

I do not (don't) know. मैं नहीं जानता हूँ।
She does not (doesn't) like tea. उसे चाय पसंद नहीं है।
They do not play here. वे यहाँ नहीं खेलते हैं।

3. Interrogative Sentences (Questions)

Put Do or Does at the start to ask a question.

Do they come daily? क्या वे रोज आते हैं?

⚠️ Important Rule for "DOES"

When you use Does, remove 's' or 'es' from the main verb.

4. Using "Do" for Emphasis (जोर देना)

Sometimes we use "Do" in positive sentences just to emphasize a point.
