Definition: Irregular verbs are verbs that do not end with -ed in the past tense. You have to memorize them.
(ये वो क्रियाएँ हैं जिनका भूतकाल बनाने के लिए 'ed' नहीं लगाया जाता। इन्हें याद करना पड़ता है।)

1. All 3 Forms are the SAME (सबसे आसान)

V1 (Present) = V2 (Past) = V3 (Perfect)

V1 (Present) V2 (Past) V3 (Past Participle) Meaning
Cut Cut Cut काटना
Put Put Put रखना
Hit Hit Hit मारना
Cost Cost Cost कीमत होना

2. Two Forms are the SAME (V2 = V3)

Usually the Past and Past Participle are the same.

Buy Bought Bought खरीदना
Catch Caught Caught पकड़ना
Feel Felt Felt महसूस करना
Say Said Said कहना
Teach Taught Taught पढ़ाना

3. All 3 Forms are DIFFERENT (सबसे कठिन)

These change completely.
