The Boy Who Cried Wolf

Raju looked at the tired villagers. राजू ने थके हुए ग्रामीणों को देखा। He started laughing loudly. वह जोर-जोर से हंसने लगा। "Ha! Ha! Ha!" he laughed holding his stomach. "मैं देखना चाहता था कि तुम लोग आओगे या नहीं।" The villagers were very angry with him. गाँववाले उससे बहुत नाराज हुए। They had left their important work. उन्होंने अपना जरूरी काम छोड़ दिया था। They scolded the boy for his lie. उन्होंने लड़के को उसके झूठ के लिए डांटा। "This is not a game, Raju," said the elder. "यह कोई खेल नहीं है, राजू," बुजुर्ग ने कहा। "Do not cry wolf when there is none." Raju watched helplessly in tears. राजू आंसुओं में असहाय होकर देखता रहा। The wolf killed many of his sheep. भेड़िये ने उसकी कई भेड़ों को मार डाला। It ate a good meal and ran away. उसने अच्छा भोजन किया और भाग गया। The rest of the flock was scattered. बाकी झुंड इधर-उधर बिखर गया था। Raju sat on a rock and wept bitterly. राजू एक चट्टान पर बैठ गया और फूट-फूट कर रोया। "Why did no one come?" he sobbed.
