The Clever Rabbit and the Lion
(चतुर खरगोश और शेर)

Once upon a time, there was a dense jungle. एक समय की बात है, एक घना जंगल था। In this jungle lived a mighty lion. इस जंगल में एक शक्तिशाली शेर रहता था। His name was Bhasuraka. उसका नाम भासुरक था। He was very strong and very cruel. वह बहुत ताकतवर और बहुत क्रूर था। He killed many animals every day unnecessarily. वह हर दिन अनावश्यक रूप से कई जानवरों को मारता था। He killed them even when he was not hungry. वह उन्हें तब भी मारता था जब वह भूखा नहीं होता था। The animals of the jungle were very afraid. जंगल के जानवर बहुत डरे हुए थे। They lived in constant fear of death. वे मौत के लगातार डर में रहते थे। "If this continues, we will all die," they said. The lion was pacing inside his cave angrily. शेर गुस्से में अपनी गुफा के अंदर घूम रहा था। He was extremely hungry and furious. वह बेहद भूखा और आगबबूला था। He licked his lips and roared loudly. उसने अपने होंठ चाटे और जोर से दहाड़ा। "Where is my food?" he shouted. "मेरा खाना कहाँ है?" वह चिल्लाया। "I will kill every animal tomorrow morning." "मैं कल सुबह हर जानवर को मार डालूंगा।" Just then, the little Rabbit appeared. तभी, छोटा खरगोश दिखाई दिया। He bowed low before the angry King. उसने क्रोधित राजा के सामने सिर झुकाया। The lion looked at the small Rabbit. शेर ने छोटे खरगोश को देखा। He became even more angry at his size. उसके आकार पर वह और भी क्रोधित हो गया। "You are so small!" roared the lion. The Rabbit stood calmly and folded his hands. खरगोश शांति से खड़ा रहा और हाथ जोड़े। "Master, it is not my fault," he said. "He hides inside this fort," said the Rabbit. "Roar!" वह गुस्से में जोर से दहाड़ा। "दहाड़!" The echo came back from the well. "Roar!" कुएं से गूंज वापस आई। "दहाड़!" The lion thought the enemy was roaring back. शेर ने सोचा कि दुश्मन वापस दहाड़ रहा है। He became mad with rage. वह गुस्से से पागल हो गया। He jumped straight into the well to fight. वह लड़ने के लिए सीधे कुएं में कूद गया। "Splash!" he fell into the deep water. "छपाक!" वह गहरे पानी में गिर गया।

The lion struggled in the water. शेर ने पानी में संघर्ष किया। But the walls were too steep to climb. लेकिन दीवारें चढ़ने के लिए बहुत खड़ी थीं। There was no other lion to fight. लड़ने के लिए कोई दूसरा शेर नहीं था। He realized his mistake too late. उसे अपनी गलती का एहसास बहुत देर से हुआ। He drowned in the well and died. वह कुएं में डूब गया और मर गया। The Rabbit looked down and smiled. खरगोश ने नीचे देखा और मुस्कुराया। He had killed the mighty lion with his brain. उसने अपने दिमाग से शक्तिशाली शेर को मार डाला था। He ran back to the other animals happily. वह खुशी-खुशी दूसरे जानवरों के पास वापस भागा। He gave them the good news. उसने उन्हें खुशखबरी दी। All the animals danced with joy. सभी जानवर खुशी से नाचने लगे। They praised the clever Rabbit. उन्होंने चतुर खरगोश की प्रशंसा की। They lived happily in the forest forever. वे जंगल में हमेशा के लिए खुशी से रहने लगे। The Rabbit became their hero. खरगोश उनका हीरो बन गया। This story teaches us a great lesson. यह कहानी हमें एक बड़ा सबक सिखाती है। Physical strength is not everything. शारीरिक शक्ति ही सब कुछ नहीं है। A sharp mind can defeat the strongest enemy. तेज दिमाग सबसे मजबूत दुश्मन को हरा सकता है।
