The Sun and the Wind
(सूरज और हवा)

Once upon a time, high up in the sky, lived the Sun and the Wind. एक समय की बात है, आसमान में बहुत ऊपर, सूरज और हवा रहते थे। They were both very powerful forces of nature. वे दोनों प्रकृति की बहुत शक्तिशाली ताकतें थीं। One day, they started arguing with each other. एक दिन, वे एक-दूसरे से बहस करने लगे। The Wind was very proud and arrogant. हवा बहुत घमंडी और अभिमानी थी। He believed he was the strongest of all. उसका मानना था कि वह सबसे ज्यादा ताकतवर है। "I am stronger than you," said the Wind. "तूफान खत्म हो गया है," उसने खुशी से कहा। He unbuttoned the top button of his coat. उसने अपने कोट का ऊपर का बटन खोल दिया। The Sun slowly increased his heat. सूरज ने धीरे-धीरे अपनी गर्मी बढ़ाई। It became warmer and brighter everywhere. हर जगह गर्मी और उजाला हो गया। The birds started singing again. पक्षी फिर से गाने लगे। The traveler started to feel a little hot. यात्री को थोड़ी गर्मी महसूस होने लगी। He opened all the buttons of his coat. उसने अपने कोट के सारे बटन खोल दिए। The Sun continued to shine brighter. सूरज और भी तेज चमकने लगा। It became a very hot summer afternoon. यह एक बहुत ही गर्म गर्मी की दोपहर बन गई।

Sweat started rolling down the man's face. आदमी के चेहरे से पसीना बहने लगा। He wiped his forehead with a handkerchief. उसने रूमाल से अपना माथा पोंछा। "It is getting too hot to walk," he said.
