The Golden Bird and the Three Brothers

Long ago, there was a King. बहुत समय पहले, एक राजा था। He had a very beautiful garden. उसका एक बहुत ही सुंदर बगीचा था। In the garden, there was a special tree. बगीचे में एक विशेष पेड़ था। This tree bore golden apples. इस पेड़ पर सुनहरे सेब उगते थे। Every day, the King counted the apples. हर दिन, राजा सेबों को गिनता था। One morning, he found one apple missing. एक सुबह, उसे एक सेब गायब मिला। He became very angry and sad. वह बहुत क्रोधित और दुखी हो गया। He called his three sons. उसने अपने तीनों बेटों को बुलाया। He ordered them to keep watch. उसने उन्हें पहरा देने का आदेश दिया। "You must catch the thief," he said. "तुम्हें चोर को पकड़ना होगा," उसने कहा। The eldest son went first. सबसे बड़ा बेटा पहले गया। He sat under the tree at night. वह रात में पेड़ के नीचे बैठ गया। But at midnight, he fell asleep. लेकिन आधी रात को उसे नींद आ गई। The next morning, another apple was gone. अगली सुबह, एक और सेब गायब था। The second son went next. दूसरा बेटा अगले दिन गया। He also fell asleep at midnight. उसे भी आधी रात को नींद आ गई। Another apple was stolen that night. उस रात एक और सेब चोरी हो गया।

Then it was the turn of the youngest son. फिर सबसे छोटे बेटे की बारी थी। His name was Ravi. उसका नाम रवि था। Ravi was not very strong. रवि ज्यादा ताकतवर नहीं था। But he was very determined. लेकिन वह बहुत दृढ़ निश्चयी था। He sat under the tree silently. वह पेड़ के नीचे चुपचाप बैठ गया। He fought his sleep hard. उसने अपनी नींद से कड़ा मुकाबला किया। At midnight, he heard a sound. आधी रात को, उसे एक आवाज सुनाई दी। He saw a bird flying down. उसने एक पक्षी को नीचे उड़ते देखा। The bird was made of pure gold. पक्षी शुद्ध सोने का बना था। It shined brightly in the dark. यह अंधेरे में चमक रहा था। The bird plucked a golden apple. पक्षी ने एक सुनहरा सेब तोड़ा। Ravi quickly shot an arrow. रवि ने जल्दी से एक तीर चलाया। The arrow did not kill the bird. तीर ने पक्षी को नहीं मारा। But one golden feather fell down. लेकिन एक सुनहरा पंख नीचे गिर गया। The bird flew away in fear. पक्षी डर कर उड़ गया। Ravi took the feather to the King. रवि पंख को राजा के पास ले गया। The King was very happy. राजा बहुत खुश हुआ। "This feather is very precious," he said. The eldest son set out first. सबसे बड़ा बेटा पहले निकल पड़ा। He walked until he reached a forest. वह तब तक चलता रहा जब तक वह एक जंगल में नहीं पहुँच गया। There, he saw a fox sitting. वहाँ, उसने एक लोमड़ी को बैठे देखा। The son aimed his gun at the fox. बेटे ने अपनी बंदूक लोमड़ी पर तान दी। "Do not shoot me!" cried the fox. "एक उज्ज्वल और हंसमुख है।" "The other looks poor and dark." "दूसरा गरीब और काला दिखता है।" "Do not stay in the bright inn." "उज्ज्वल सराय में मत रुकना।" "Stay in the poor inn." "गरीब सराय में रुकना।" The son laughed at the fox. बेटा लोमड़ी पर हंसा। "A fox cannot give advice," he said. "एक लोमड़ी सलाह नहीं दे सकती," उसने कहा। He shot at the fox but missed. उसने लोमड़ी पर गोली चलाई लेकिन चूक गया। The fox ran away into the woods. लोमड़ी जंगल में भाग गई। The son reached the village. बेटा गाँव पहुँच गया। He saw the two inns there. उसने वहां दो सराय देखीं। He chose the bright, happy inn. उसने उज्ज्वल, खुशहाल सराय चुनी। He ate, drank, and forgot his mission. उसने खाया, पिया और अपना मिशन भूल गया।

The second son did the same thing. दूसरे बेटे ने भी यही किया। He also ignored the fox. उसने भी लोमड़ी की अनदेखी की। Finally, Ravi set out on the journey. अंत में, रवि यात्रा पर निकल पड़ा। He met the same fox in the forest. वह जंगल में उसी लोमड़ी से मिला। The fox gave him the same advice. लोमड़ी ने उसे वही सलाह दी। "Thank you, little fox," said Ravi. "धन्यवाद, छोटी लोमड़ी," रवि ने कहा। "I will not hurt you." "मैं तुम्हें चोट नहीं पहुँचाऊँगा।" The fox was happy with his kindness. लोमड़ी उसकी दयालुता से खुश थी। "Sit on my tail," said the fox. "मेरी पूंछ पर बैठो," लोमड़ी ने कहा। Ravi sat, and the fox ran fast. रवि बैठ गया, और लोमड़ी तेजी से दौड़ी। They reached the village in seconds. वे कुछ ही सेकंड में गाँव पहुँच गए। Ravi stayed in the poor, dark inn. रवि गरीब, अंधेरी सराय में रुका। He slept peacefully that night. वह उस रात शांति से सोया। The next morning, the fox appeared. अगली सुबह, लोमड़ी दिखाई दी। "Now go to the castle," it said. Ravi went to the huge castle. रवि विशाल महल में गया। All the soldiers were fast asleep. सभी सैनिक गहरी नींद में थे। He found the room with the bird. उसे पक्षी वाला कमरा मिल गया। The Golden Bird was in a wooden cage. सोने की चिड़िया लकड़ी के पिंजरे में थी। Next to it was a beautiful golden cage. इसके बगल में एक सुंदर सुनहरा पिंजरा था। Ravi thought, "This is wrong." रवि ने सोचा, "यह गलत है।" "Such a beautiful bird needs a golden cage." Ravi met the fox outside sadly. रवि बाहर लोमड़ी से उदासी से मिला। "You did not listen to me," said the fox. "तुमने मेरी बात नहीं सुनी," लोमड़ी ने कहा। "But I will help you again." "लेकिन मैं तुम्हारी फिर से मदद करूँगी।" They went to another castle. वे दूसरे महल में गए। The fox said, "The horse is in the stable." लोमड़ी ने कहा, "घोड़ा अस्तबल में है।" "Put the old leather saddle on it." "सुनहरी काठी का प्रयोग मत करना।" Ravi went inside and found the horse. रवि अंदर गया और घोड़ा ढूंढ लिया। It was a magnificent golden animal. यह एक शानदार सुनहरा जानवर था। He saw the old saddle and frowned. उसने पुरानी काठी देखी और त्योरियां चढ़ाईं। "This horse deserves gold," he thought. "यह घोड़ा सोने का हकदार है," उसने सोचा। He put the golden saddle on the horse. उसने घोड़े पर सुनहरी काठी रख दी। The horse neighed loudly. घोड़ा जोर से हिनहिनाया। The guards woke up and caught him. पहरेदार जाग गए और उसे पकड़ लिया। Ravi was taken to the second King. रवि को दूसरे राजा के पास ले जाया गया। "I will spare you," said the King. "मैं तुम्हें छोड़ दूँगा," राजा ने कहा। "But you must bring me the Golden Princess." "लेकिन तुम्हें मेरे लिए सुनहरी राजकुमारी लानी होगी।"

The fox was disappointed again. लोमड़ी फिर निराश हो गई। "Why do you not listen?" it asked. "तुम सुनते क्यों नहीं हो?" उसने पूछा। "This is your last chance." "यह तुम्हारा आखिरी मौका है।" They went to the Golden Castle. वे स्वर्ण महल गए। "The Princess goes to the bathhouse," said the fox. "राजकुमारी स्नानघर जाती है," लोमड़ी ने कहा। "Kiss her hand, and she will come." "उसके हाथ को चूमना, और वह आ जाएगी।" "Do not let her say goodbye to parents." On the way home, he met his brothers. घर के रास्ते में, वह अपने भाइयों से मिला। They were jealous of his success. वे उसकी सफलता से जलते थे। They pushed Ravi into a deep well. उन्होंने रवि को एक गहरे कुएं में धकेल दिया। They took the treasures to their father. वे खजाना अपने पिता के पास ले गए। But the bird did not sing. लेकिन पक्षी नहीं गाया। The horse did not eat. घोड़े ने खाना नहीं खाया। The Princess only cried. राजकुमारी केवल रोती रही। The fox saved Ravi from the well. लोमड़ी ने रवि को कुएं से बचाया। Ravi returned to the palace in disguise. रवि भेष बदलकर महल लौटा। Suddenly, the bird started singing. अचानक, पक्षी गाने लगा। The horse stood up happily. घोड़ा खुशी से खड़ा हो गया। The Princess stopped crying and smiled. राजकुमारी ने रोना बंद कर दिया और मुस्कुराई। "My true master is here," she said. "मेरा असली मालिक यहाँ है," उसने कहा। Ravi told the King the whole truth. रवि ने राजा को पूरी सच्चाई बताई। The wicked brothers were punished. दुष्ट भाइयों को सजा दी गई। Ravi married the Princess. रवि ने राजकुमारी से शादी की। He became a wise King later. वह बाद में एक बुद्धिमान राजा बना। And he never forgot the kind fox. और वह उस दयालु लोमड़ी को कभी नहीं भूला।
