The Boy Who Saved the Kingdom

Long ago, there was a beautiful kingdom named Shanti. बहुत समय पहले, शांति नाम का एक सुंदर राज्य था। It was surrounded by green mountains and blue rivers. यह हरे पहाड़ों और नीली नदियों से घिरा हुआ था। The people lived there very happily. लोग वहां बहुत खुशी से रहते थे। The King was kind and just to everyone. राजा सबके लिए दयालु और न्यायप्रिय था। But one day, a dark cloud covered the sky. लेकिन एक दिन, एक काले बादल ने आसमान को ढक लिया। A terrible monster came to the mountains. एक भयानक राक्षस पहाड़ों पर आया। The monster was called Zora. राक्षस का नाम ज़ोरा था। Zora was huge and breathed fire. ज़ोरा विशाल था और आग उगलता था। He roared loudly every night. वह हर रात जोर से दहाड़ता था। His roar shook the houses in the village. उसकी दहाड़ से गाँव के घर हिल जाते थे। The people were terrified and stopped going out. लोग भयभीत थे और बाहर जाना बंद कर दिया। Zora demanded ten cows every day for food. ज़ोरा ने भोजन के लिए प्रतिदिन दस गायों की मांग की। "If you don't give me food, I will burn the city," he said. "अगर तुम मुझे खाना नहीं दोगे, तो मैं शहर को जला दूँगा," उसने कहा। The King was very worried about his people. राजा अपनी प्रजा को लेकर बहुत चिंतित था। He sent his bravest soldiers to fight Zora. उसने ज़ोरा से लड़ने के लिए अपने सबसे बहादुर सैनिकों को भेजा। But the soldiers ran away in fear. लेकिन सैनिक डर के मारे भाग गए। Their swords broke against the monster's skin. उनकी तलवारें राक्षस की त्वचा से टकराकर टूट गईं। The King did not know what to do. राजा को नहीं पता था कि क्या करना है।

In a small hut, lived a boy named Arjun. एक छोटी सी झोपड़ी में, अर्जुन नाम का एक लड़का रहता था। Arjun was only twelve years old. अर्जुन केवल बारह वर्ष का था। He was not strong like a soldier. वह सैनिक की तरह मजबूत नहीं था। He was thin and quiet. वह दुबला और शांत था। But he was very smart and kind. लेकिन वह बहुत होशियार और दयालु था। He loved reading books about nature. उसे प्रकृति के बारे में किताबें पढ़ना बहुत पसंद था। He heard about the monster Zora. उसने राक्षस ज़ोरा के बारे में सुना। "Violence will not work," thought Arjun. "हिंसा काम नहीं करेगी," अर्जुन ने सोचा। "We need to use our brains." "हमें अपने दिमाग का इस्तेमाल करने की जरूरत है।" He decided to go and meet the monster. उसने जाकर राक्षस से मिलने का फैसला किया। His mother was very scared for him. उसकी माँ उसके लिए बहुत डरी हुई थी। "Please do not go, my son," she cried. "माँ, किसी को तो कोशिश करनी होगी," अर्जुन ने धीरे से कहा। He took a small bag with him. वह अपने साथ एक छोटा सा थैला ले गया। He put some bread and honey in it. उसने उसमें कुछ रोटी और शहद रख लिया। He started climbing the dark mountain. उसने अंधेरे पहाड़ पर चढ़ना शुरू कर दिया।

On his way, he saw a small stream. रास्ते में, उसने एक छोटी सी धारा देखी। An ant was drowning in the water. पानी में एक चींटी डूब रही थी। Arjun picked up a leaf quickly. अर्जुन ने जल्दी से एक पत्ता उठाया। He put the leaf in the water. उसने पत्ता पानी में डाल दिया। The ant climbed onto the leaf. चींटी पत्ते पर चढ़ गई। "Thank you, kind boy," said the ant. "मैं किसी दिन तुम्हारी मदद करूँगी।" Arjun smiled and continued walking. अर्जुन मुस्कुराया और चलता रहा। A little later, he heard a buzzing sound. थोड़ी देर बाद, उसे भिनभिनाने की आवाज सुनाई दी। He saw a bee trapped in a spider web. उसने एक मकड़ी के जाले में फंसी मधुमक्खी को देखा। The spider was coming to eat it. मकड़ी उसे खाने आ रही थी। Arjun carefully broke the web with a stick. अर्जुन ने सावधानी से छड़ी से जाले को तोड़ दिया। The bee flew away safely. मधुमक्खी सुरक्षित उड़ गई। "Thank you," buzzed the bee. "धन्यवाद," मधुमक्खी भिनभिनाई। "Call me if you need help." "अगर तुम्हें मदद की जरूरत हो तो मुझे बुलाना।" Arjun felt happy doing good deeds. अर्जुन को अच्छे काम करके खुशी महसूस हुई।

He reached the top of a hill. वह एक पहाड़ी की चोटी पर पहुँचा। He saw a large eagle sitting on a rock. उसने एक चट्टान पर बैठे एक बड़े बाज को देखा। The eagle looked weak and sick. बाज कमजोर और बीमार लग रहा था। "I am too old to hunt," said the eagle. "मैं शिकार करने के लिए बहुत बूढ़ा हूँ," बाज ने कहा। "I have not eaten for days." "मैंने दिनों से नहीं खाया है।" Arjun felt pity for the bird. अर्जुन को पक्षी पर दया आ गई। He opened his bag and took out bread. उसने अपना बैग खोला और रोटी निकाली। He gave all his bread to the eagle. उसने अपनी सारी रोटी बाज को दे दी। The eagle ate it and felt strong. बाज ने इसे खाया और मजबूत महसूस किया। "You are a generous soul," said the eagle. "तुम एक उदार आत्मा हो," बाज ने कहा। "I will watch over you from the sky." "मैं आकाश से तुम पर नजर रखूंगा।" Now Arjun had no food left. अब अर्जुन के पास कोई खाना नहीं बचा था। But he had three new friends. लेकिन उसके तीन नए दोस्त थे। He reached the cave of Zora. वह ज़ोरा की गुफा तक पहुँचा।

"Who dares to come here?" roared Zora. "यहाँ आने की हिम्मत कौन करता है?" ज़ोरा दहाड़ा। The monster came out of the dark cave. राक्षस अंधेरी गुफा से बाहर आया। He was taller than the trees. वह पेड़ों से भी लंबा था। Smoke came out of his nose. उसकी नाक से धुआं निकल रहा था। Arjun stood firm and did not run. अर्जुन दृढ़ रहा और नहीं भागा। "I am Arjun," he said bravely. "मैं अर्जुन हूँ," उसने बहादुरी से कहा। "I challenge you to a contest." "मैं तुम्हें एक प्रतियोगिता की चुनौती देता हूँ।" Zora laughed loudly. ज़ोरा जोर से हंसा। "You? A tiny ant?" he mocked. "तुम? एक छोटी चींटी?" उसने उपहास किया। "I can crush you with one finger." "मैं तुम्हें एक उंगली से कुचल सकता हूँ।" "If you win, I will leave," said Zora. "अगर तुम जीत गए, तो मैं चला जाऊँगा," ज़ोरा ने कहा। "But if you lose, I will eat you." "लेकिन अगर तुम हार गए, तो मैं तुम्हें खा जाऊंगा।" Arjun agreed to the terms. अर्जुन शर्तों पर सहमत हो गया। "First task," said Zora. "पहला काम," ज़ोरा ने कहा। "Find the Golden Pearl in this sand." "इस रेत में सुनहरा मोती ढूँढो।" He threw a tiny pearl into a huge pile of sand. उसने रेत के विशाल ढेर में एक छोटा मोती फेंक दिया।

Arjun looked at the huge sand pile. अर्जुन ने विशाल रेत के ढेर को देखा। It was impossible for a human to find. इंसान के लिए इसे ढूँढना असंभव था। He sat down and worried. वह बैठ गया और चिंता करने लगा। Then he saw a line of ants. तभी उसने चींटियों की एक कतार देखी। It was the ant he had saved. यह वही चींटी थी जिसे उसने बचाया था। It brought hundreds of friends. वह सैकड़ों दोस्तों को ले आई। They shifted the sand grain by grain. उन्होंने रेत को दाना-दाना करके हिला दिया। Within minutes, they found the pearl. मिनटों के भीतर, उन्होंने मोती ढूँढ लिया। Arjun showed the pearl to Zora. अर्जुन ने ज़ोरा को मोती दिखाया। Zora was shocked but angry. ज़ोरा हैरान था लेकिन गुस्से में था। "Luck!" he shouted. The flowers looked exactly the same. फूल बिल्कुल एक जैसे दिख रहे थे। Arjun could not tell the difference. अर्जुन अंतर नहीं बता सकता था। Suddenly, he heard a buzz. अचानक, उसने एक भिनभिनाहट सुनी। The bee flew down from the sky. मधुमक्खी आसमान से नीचे उड़ी। It smelled all the flowers. उसने सभी फूलों को सूंघा। It sat on the one real flower. वह एक असली फूल पर बैठ गई। "This is the real one," said Arjun. "यह असली वाला है," अर्जुन ने कहा। Zora growled in frustration. ज़ोरा हताशा में गुर्राया। "Final task!" he screamed. "अंतिम काम!" वह चिल्लाया। "Tell me, where is my weakness?" "मुझे बताओ, मेरी कमजोरी कहाँ है?" "If you fail, you die." "अगर तुम असफल हुए, तो तुम मरोगे।" Arjun did not know the answer. अर्जुन को जवाब नहीं पता था। He looked up at the sky helplessly. उसने बेबसी से आसमान की ओर देखा। The eagle was flying high above. बाज ऊपर बहुत ऊँचा उड़ रहा था। The eagle had sharp eyes. बाज की आँखें तेज थीं। It saw a small spot on Zora's head. उसने ज़ोरा के सिर पर एक छोटा सा धब्बा देखा। The eagle screeched and circled the head. बाज चीखा और सिर का चक्कर लगाया। Arjun understood the signal. अर्जुन संकेत समझ गया। "Your weakness is the spot on your head!" "तुम्हारी कमजोरी तुम्हारे सिर पर वह धब्बा है!" Zora was terrified. ज़ोरा भयभीत हो गया। "How do you know my secrets?" he cried. "तुम मेरे रहस्य कैसे जानते हो?" वह रोया। He realized Arjun was protected by nature. उसे एहसास हुआ कि अर्जुन प्रकृति द्वारा संरक्षित है। He accepted defeat and flew away forever. उसने हार स्वीकार कर ली और हमेशा के लिए उड़ गया।

Arjun walked back to the village. अर्जुन वापस गाँव चला गया। The people cheered for him loudly. लोगों ने उसके लिए जोर से जयकार की। The King came to meet him. राजा उससे मिलने आया। "You saved us all," said the King. "तुमने हम सबको बचा लिया," राजा ने कहा। "You are the bravest hero." "तुम सबसे बहादुर नायक हो।" "I am not a hero," said Arjun. "मैं नायक नहीं हूँ," अर्जुन ने कहा। "My friends helped me win." "मेरे दोस्तों ने मुझे जीतने में मदद की।" "Kindness is stronger than muscles." "दयालुता मांसपेशियों से ज्यादा मजबूत होती है।" The King made Arjun his advisor. राजा ने अर्जुन को अपना सलाहकार बनाया। The kingdom lived in peace forever. राज्य हमेशा के लिए शांति से रहा। Arjun never forgot his animal friends. अर्जुन अपने जानवर दोस्तों को कभी नहीं भूला।
