The Cap Seller and the Monkeys
(टोपी बेचने वाला और बंदर)

Once upon a time, there was a man named Ramu. एक समय की बात है, रामू नाम का एक आदमी था। Ramu was a poor but hardworking cap seller. रामू एक गरीब लेकिन मेहनती टोपी बेचने वाला था। He lived in a very small village. वह एक बहुत छोटे गाँव में रहता था। He made beautiful and colorful caps at home. वह घर पर सुंदर और रंगीन टोपियां बनाता था। Some caps were red, some were blue. कुछ टोपियां लाल थीं, कुछ नीली थीं। Some caps were yellow with bright patterns. कुछ टोपियां चमकीले पैटर्न के साथ पीली थीं। Every morning, he filled a large basket with caps. हर सुबह, वह एक बड़ी टोकरी टोपियों से भरता था। He carried the basket on his head. वह टोकरी अपने सिर पर उठाता था। He walked from village to village to sell them. वह उन्हें बेचने के लिए एक गाँव से दूसरे गाँव जाता था। "Caps for sale! Ramu walked for many miles in the heat. रामू गर्मी में कई मील चला। He felt very tired and thirsty. उसे बहुत थकान और प्यास लगी थी। His legs were aching from walking so much. इतना चलने से उसके पैरों में दर्द हो रहा था। He saw a huge Banyan tree nearby. उसने पास में एक विशाल बरगद का पेड़ देखा। The tree had many branches and thick leaves. पेड़ की कई शाखाएँ और घने पत्ते थे। It provided a cool and dark shade. यह ठंडी और गहरी छाया प्रदान करता था। "I will rest here for a while," thought Ramu. Ramu took a deep breath. रामू ने गहरी सांस ली। He looked straight at the monkeys. उसने सीधे बंदरों की ओर देखा। He took off the cap from his own head. उसने अपने सिर से टोपी उतारी। He waved the cap in the air. उसने टोपी को हवा में लहराया। The monkeys took off their caps too. बंदरों ने भी अपनी टोपियां उतार लीं। They waved the caps just like him. उन्होंने बिल्कुल उसकी तरह टोपियां लहराईं। Now was the final step. अब अंतिम कदम था। Ramu threw his cap forcefully on the ground. रामू ने अपनी टोपी जोर से जमीन पर फेंक दी। The monkeys did exactly the same thing. बंदरों ने बिल्कुल वैसा ही किया। They threw all the caps down from the tree. उन्होंने पेड़ से सारी टोपियां नीचे फेंक दीं। It started raining colorful caps. रंगीन टोपियों की बारिश होने लगी। Red, blue, and yellow caps fell everywhere. लाल, नीली और पीली टोपियां हर जगह गिर गईं। Ramu did not waste a single second. रामू ने एक भी सेकंड बर्बाद नहीं किया। He quickly gathered all the caps. उसने जल्दी से सारी टोपियां इकट्ठी कर लीं। He stuffed them back into his basket. उसने उन्हें वापस अपनी टोकरी में भर दिया। He covered the basket tightly with the lid. उसने टोकरी को ढक्कन से कसकर ढक दिया।

The monkeys looked down from the tree. बंदरों ने पेड़ से नीचे देखा। They looked confused and surprised. वे भ्रमित और हैरान दिख रहे थे। They realized they had lost their new toys. उन्हें एहसास हुआ कि उन्होंने अपने नए खिलौने खो दिए हैं। But Ramu was very relieved and happy. लेकिन रामू बहुत राहत और खुश महसूस कर रहा था। "Thank you, monkeys!" he said with a smile. "धन्यवाद, बंदरों!" उसने मुस्कान के साथ कहा। He lifted the heavy basket onto his head. उसने भारी टोकरी अपने सिर पर उठाई। He walked away from the forest quickly. वह जंगल से जल्दी से दूर चला गया। He reached the village and sold all his caps. वह गाँव पहुँचा और अपनी सारी टोपियां बेच दीं। That day, he learned a valuable lesson. उस दिन, उसने एक बहुमूल्य सबक सीखा। When in trouble, use your mind, not anger. मुसीबत में, अपने दिमाग का इस्तेमाल करो, गुस्से का नहीं। Presence of mind can solve difficult problems. दिमाग की उपस्थिति कठिन समस्याओं को हल कर सकती है। Ramu told this story to his children. रामू ने यह कहानी अपने बच्चों को सुनाई। And the story is told even today. और यह कहानी आज भी सुनाई जाती है।
