The Dove and the Ant
(कबूतर और चींटी)

Once upon a time, there was a dense forest. एक समय की बात है, एक घना जंगल था। In this forest, lived a little Ant. इस जंगल में, एक छोटी चींटी रहती थी। It was a very hot summer afternoon. यह एक बहुत गर्म दोपहर थी। The Ant was searching for food. चींटी भोजन की तलाश कर रही थी। She walked for a long time. वह काफी देर तक चलती रही। Soon, she felt very thirsty. जल्द ही, उसे बहुत प्यास लगी। Her throat was dry and parched. उसका गला सूखा और प्यासा था। She needed water immediately to survive. जीवित रहने के लिए उसे तुरंत पानी की आवश्यकता थी। She knew there was a river nearby. वह जानती थी कि पास में एक नदी है। She walked towards the sound of water. वह पानी की आवाज की ओर चल दी। Finally, she reached the river bank. आखिरकार, वह नदी के किनारे पहुँच गई। The water was cool and clear. पानी ठंडा और साफ था। But the river bank was steep and slippery. लेकिन नदी का किनारा खड़ा और फिसलन भरा था। She had to climb down a grass blade. उसे घास के एक तिनके से नीचे उतरना पड़ा। She moved very slowly and carefully. वह बहुत धीरे और सावधानी से आगे बढ़ी।

As she tried to drink water, she slipped. जैसे ही उसने पानी पीने की कोशिश की, वह फिसल गई। "Splash!" she fell into the deep river. "छपाक!" वह गहरी नदी में गिर गई। The current of the water was very strong. पानी का बहाव बहुत तेज था। The tiny Ant struggled to stay afloat. नन्ही चींटी ने तैरते रहने के लिए संघर्ष किया। She tried to swim to the bank. उसने किनारे तक तैरने की कोशिश की। But the waves pushed her away. लेकिन लहरों ने उसे दूर धकेल दिया। She started drowning in the water. वह पानी में डूबने लगी। "Help! Help!" she cried weakly. "मदद करो! मदद करो!" वह कमजोर आवाज में चिल्लाई। But her voice was too small to be heard. लेकिन उसकी आवाज इतनी धीमी थी कि सुनी नहीं जा सकती थी। She thought it was her last day. उसने सोचा कि यह उसका आखिरी दिन है। She felt helpless and terrified. वह असहाय और भयभीत महसूस कर रही थी। Nearby, there was a big tree. पास ही, एक बड़ा पेड़ था। A beautiful white Dove was sitting there. वहाँ एक सुंदर सफेद कबूतर बैठा था। The Dove saw the struggling Ant. कबूतर ने संघर्ष करती चींटी को देखा।

The Dove had a kind heart. कबूतर का दिल दयालु था। He felt pity for the little insect. उसे छोटे कीड़े पर दया आ गई। "I must save her life," he thought. "मुझे उसकी जान बचानी होगी," उसने सोचा। He quickly plucked a big green leaf. उसने जल्दी से एक बड़ा हरा पत्ता तोड़ा। He flew down towards the river. वह नीचे नदी की ओर उड़ गया। He dropped the leaf near the Ant. उसने पत्ता चींटी के पास गिरा दिया। The leaf floated on the water surface. पत्ता पानी की सतह पर तैरने लगा। The Ant saw the leaf and found hope. चींटी ने पत्ता देखा और उसे उम्मीद मिली। She used all her strength to move. उसने हिलने के लिए अपनी पूरी ताकत लगा दी। She climbed onto the floating leaf. वह तैरते हुए पत्ते पर चढ़ गई। Now she was safe from drowning. अब वह डूबने से सुरक्षित थी। The leaf drifted slowly to the bank. पत्ता धीरे-धीरे बहकर किनारे पर आ गया। The Ant jumped onto the dry ground. चींटी सूखी जमीन पर कूद गई। She was wet but she was alive. वह गीली थी लेकिन जिंदा थी। She looked up at the Dove thankfully. उसने कबूतर की ओर कृतज्ञता से देखा। "Thank you, kind friend," she whispered. "धन्यवाद, दयालु मित्र," वह फुसफुसाई।

Several days passed after this incident. इस घटना के कई दिन बीत गए। The Ant and Dove became distant friends. चींटी और कबूतर दूर के दोस्त बन गए। One day, a hunter came to the forest. एक दिन, एक शिकारी जंगल में आया। He was looking for birds to catch. वह पक्षियों को पकड़ने की तलाश में था। He carried a net and some sticky glue. उसके पास एक जाल और कुछ चिपचिपा गोंद था। He saw the beautiful white Dove sitting. उसने सुंदर सफेद कबूतर को बैठे देखा। The Dove was resting on a branch. कबूतर एक शाखा पर आराम कर रहा था। He was sleeping and unaware of danger. वह सो रहा था और खतरे से अनजान था। The hunter smiled greedily. शिकारी लालच से मुस्कुराया। "That bird will fetch a good price," he thought. "वह पक्षी अच्छी कीमत दिलाएगा," उसने सोचा। He prepared his trap carefully. उसने अपना जाल सावधानी से तैयार किया। He aimed his weapon at the Dove. उसने अपना हथियार कबूतर पर तान दिया। He moved silently so no one could hear. वह चुपचाप चला ताकि कोई सुन न सके।

Just then, the Ant was passing by. तभी, चींटी वहां से गुजर रही थी। She saw the hunter near the tree. उसने पेड़ के पास शिकारी को देखा। She saw him aiming at the Dove. उसने उसे कबूतर पर निशाना लगाते देखा। She recognized her friend immediately. उसने अपने दोस्त को तुरंत पहचान लिया। "Oh no! My savior is in danger," she thought. "अरे नहीं! मेरा रक्षक खतरे में है," उसने सोचा। "He saved my life from the river." "उसने नदी से मेरी जान बचाई थी।" "Now it is my turn to save him." "अब उसे बचाने की मेरी बारी है।" The Ant acted very quickly. चींटी ने बहुत तेजी से काम किया। She ran towards the hunter's foot. वह शिकारी के पैर की ओर दौड़ी। The hunter was about to throw the net. शिकारी जाल फेंकने ही वाला था। He was focused on his target. वह अपने लक्ष्य पर केंद्रित था। He did not notice the tiny insect. उसने छोटे कीड़े पर ध्यान नहीं दिया।

The Ant climbed onto the hunter's foot. चींटी शिकारी के पैर पर चढ़ गई। She found a soft spot on his heel. उसे उसकी एड़ी पर एक नरम जगह मिल गई। She bit him as hard as she could. उसने उसे उतनी जोर से काटा जितना वह काट सकती थी। "Ouch!" screamed the hunter in pain. "आउच!" शिकारी दर्द से चिल्लाया। The pain was sharp and sudden. दर्द तेज और अचानक था। He dropped his net on the ground. उसने अपना जाल जमीन पर गिरा दिया। He jumped up and down holding his foot. वह अपना पैर पकड़कर ऊपर-नीचे कूदने लगा। The loud noise woke up the Dove. तेज आवाज ने कबूतर को जगा दिया। He opened his eyes and saw the hunter. उसने अपनी आँखें खोलीं और शिकारी को देखा। He saw the net lying on the ground. उसने जमीन पर पड़ा जाल देखा। He understood the danger instantly. वह खतरे को तुरंत समझ गया। Without wasting a second, he flew away. बिना एक सेकंड बर्बाद किए, वह उड़ गया। He flew high into the safe sky. वह सुरक्षित आकाश में ऊँचा उड़ गया।

The hunter was very disappointed. शिकारी बहुत निराश हुआ। He rubbed his painful foot angrily. उसने गुस्से में अपना दर्दनाक पैर रगड़ा। He looked around for the cause. उसने कारण खोजने के लिए चारों ओर देखा। But the little Ant had hidden in the grass. लेकिन छोटी चींटी घास में छिप गई थी। The hunter picked up his net and left. शिकारी ने अपना जाल उठाया और चला गया। The Dove circled back later. कबूतर बाद में वापस चक्कर लगाकर आया। He saw the Ant coming out of hiding. उसने चींटी को छिपने की जगह से बाहर आते देखा। He realized what the Ant had done. उसे एहसास हुआ कि चींटी ने क्या किया है। "Thank you, my little friend," cooed the Dove. "धन्यवाद, मेरे छोटे दोस्त," कबूतर ने कूका। "You saved my life today." "तुमने आज मेरी जान बचाई।" The Ant smiled and waved back. चींटी मुस्कुराई और हाथ हिलाया। "One good turn deserves another," she said. "भलाई का बदला भलाई होता है," उसने कहा। They remained best friends forever. वे हमेशा के लिए सबसे अच्छे दोस्त बने रहे। They helped each other whenever needed. उन्होंने जब भी जरूरत पड़ी एक-दूसरे की मदद की। The story teaches us a valuable lesson. कहानी हमें एक बहुमूल्य सबक सिखाती है। If you do good, good will come to you. यदि आप अच्छा करेंगे, तो आपके साथ अच्छा होगा।
